— Josh Wardle, Co-founder at Kind Mind

I’ve been working with the team at Kind Mind since Q2 2022. With their employee wellness app still in Beta, there’s lots to do.

So what can I tell you at this stage?

I have been working on creating in-app story content with a graphics designer from existing in-app guides, and my favourite bit has been developing a content strategy for their blog.

As a new app, it will be really important to show up in just the right SERP results with high-quality content to capture an audience following. After all, wellness is a hugely commoditised topic, so we want to ensure that our USP and values shine through - wellness isn’t a commodity for businesses; it’s a meaningful approach to HR management.

How am I doing that?

I’m working in clusters to dive deep into important topics like the employee experience and hybrid working. I can capture more keywords from relevant topic-related searches by exploring the conversation across multiple sub-topics. I can also show off who we are, what we do and how we think.

My approach has meant I have been asked for my advice on other areas, such as social media creation, site SEO and more. And I’m happy to roll up my sleeves and get involved!

Site SEO and remapping

As I say this is a project in beta and that means everythign is up for improvement. When the website was redesigned I jumped on board to help with optimisation.

My first job was to make sure migrated blog content had the correct metadata and was Yoast optimised. I then checked and updated the core and secondary pages.

Alongside this, I advised the client how to submit a sitemap to Google and make sure pages are indexing.

Simple updates can make the biggest impact and in 10 days we were already seeing changes.

Later in 2023 we were able to draw these results from my content and SEO work. This is August 2023.

New content areas for the website

While awareness blog content is great, it would be ideal to start moving into decision-making and user-focused content. I see this as a must for any SaaS.

Shortly I aim to start to work on on-site resources and user guides to tackle this issue.

Updating service pages

We have pencilled in my working up new service page copy. I’m looking forward to this!

LinkedIn content

We knew we needed LinkedIn content, after all in the B2B space LinkedIn is definitely where we will find our decision-makers. But where to start?

This is my current focus - turning what we have already built alongside our core values and mission to create a social strategy that engages and builds an initial audience.
